As juniors in high school English class at Vintage High School, Ryan and Saskia could not have possibly imagined that marriage was in their future plans.

Despite sitting near each other and sharing a mutual friend (Josh Scholl), dating was not on their minds. However, years later, Josh brought them together on a vacation down south and the romance began. Ryan figured he was headed to the beach to do some skim boarding with a buddy and Saskia thought she was just entertaining some friends for the weekend while she was attending nursing school.
